About Pax

Hi, I'm Tash 👋

I'm a mum of two boys and a primary school teacher, and Pax really started from our own everyday outings and adventures.

These two are pretty wild (don't let this picture fool you) and we love to travel, eat out, and visit friends... but our outings were starting to turn into chaos more often than not.

I needed something to keep them engaged and entertained, without always relying on a screen or having random toys floating around my bag and car.

So we started putting together our own little activity packs that we could rotate through. The boys loved it, it was simple and portable, and quickly became our go-to.

That was the start of Pax!

Built on real learning

As a primary school teacher, I’ve seen first-hand how kids learn best through play.

That’s shaped how each Pax pack is put together.

The activities support early development in a natural, play-based way, helping build skills like problem solving, creativity, fine motor control, early literacy, and numeracy.

Most importantly, it doesn’t feel like learning to them. It still just feels like play.

How Pax works

Each Pax is a compact, self-contained activity pack designed to be ready when you need it.

Start with one pack and keep it in your bag for those moments where you need a bit of calm or distraction.

There’s no setup, no loose pieces, and nothing to organise before you use it.

Use it anywhere, cafés, travel, waiting rooms, or at home.

Add more packs over time based on your child’s interests.

Everything is designed to work together, so your set grows without becoming overwhelming.

It’s not about having more for the sake of it. It’s about having the right options, ready to go.

Why families keep coming back

For most families, it comes down to this: Pax works.

It helps create those pockets of calm when you need them, and gives children something they genuinely enjoy coming back to.

We made Pax for our own kids because we couldn’t find anything quite like it.

Now we're fortunate enough to be able to share it with other families as well.
